Ready for Spring…
I am ready for Spring, welcoming the life that it brings to the Farm. Hearing the birds sing, and feel their urgency as they build their nests. Walking through the fields holding hands with the Man, new green shoots of grass under our feet. Watching the swelling buds on the trees, giving birth to leaves of all shape and color. Sharing with the bees the sweet aroma of the apple blossoms. The feel of cool earth in our hands as we ready the garden, planting seeds of sustenance for later months. To finally finish preparing barns and fields, and to welcome home our horses. The warmth of the sun as it lingers longer in the sky each evening. Listening to the evening frogs, welcoming the cool night air with songs that become one. Sitting on the back porch with the man that I love, sharing the events of our days, with faithful companions at our feet. I am ready for Spring, and the life it brings…
Amen. This is a beautiful blog. I can hear the bird’s see the budding tree’s and here the water running in a nearby stream. Winter is at it’s end and the forest is comming to life. I can see the farm, the horses grazeing in the field. You and the man working the field for a new garden full of fresh vegetables and berries. Hey whose story is this anyway. I forgot. You lit a fire under me Rick. The beginning of a book, titled,
MEAndTheMan or whatever you like. Truly i love this blog. It has a ring of pure contentment and happiness.

You are my biggest fan, for sure, Aunt Ruby. What you wrote the other night really helped put me back in the right space for this blog. Thank you very much!

Your very welcome Rick. I don’t want you to lose your perspective where your writing is concerned. I have read several book’s over my life and what i found was, if it did not grab my attention within the first chapter i just lost interest but i am sure that a number of those book’s were most likely very good. So far i have not been dissapointed in any of your blog’s yet. I don’t want you to give up on yourself. If it is your dream to write, you must not give up. And without a doubt your photography is beautiful. I love you.
